An abandoned dog field. It smells like adventure. Sniff around to find some kibble.
Build
Give the dogs a job. Pups can't work until they grow up (20 days), but you can already pick the job they'll start with. The percentage shows how good a dog is at its job and why: traits, age, experience and tricks.
Whatever the pupils pick up at puppy school turns into tricks. Pack tricks are learned once and remembered by everyone; personal tricks are taught to one dog and leave with that dog.

Personal tricks
A dog can know 2 tricks (3 if clever). A trained dog is worth more to a visitor, too.
Tinkering with bones and wood. Each upgrade is bought once and works right away.
Beyond the field lies the world. Scouts build up wag power; spend it on adventures and on finding other packs to trade with.
Somewhere, the old dogs say, lies the Great Ball. Joy builds up around it; spend it on games. A game lifts the mood of the pack and gives everyone a boost for a while.
Trophies
Things the pack is proud of. Purely for bragging rights at the campfire.
